1、 Eligibility

1. Foreign citizens with good conduct, good health, high school education or above.

2. Excellent academic performance, need to provide relevant performance certificate.

3. As of December 31, 2020, applicants over the age of 18 (inclusive); as of September 1, 2020, applicants under the age of 18 (inclusive) are required to submit guarantees and supporting documents at the time of enrollment.

4. For those who are Chinese citizens and later join foreign nationality, our school implements the document of Ministry of education, Jiao Wai [2009] No. 83.

2、 Application process

Submit materials → review materials → send the admission notice and application form for visa of foreign students to China (JW202 form) → apply for X1 visa at Chinese embassy (consulate) → report to the University

1 required materials:

① Copy of passport information page

② Birth certificate

③ Application form for foreign students of Beijing University of traditional Chinese medicine (see Annex 1)

④ The highest education background and degree certificate (original and notarized in Chinese or English);

⑤ Certificate of achievement of the course (including but not limited to)

-Official transcript (original and notarized in Chinese or English) provided by the school with the highest education background;

-National / regional unified high school graduation examination report card;

-Internationally accepted standardized test scores (such as sat / act / A-level / AP / IB, etc.);

⑥ Language proficiency certification:

-Teaching in Chinese: applicants whose native language is not Chinese shall submit a new hsk4 or above certificate;

-Bilingual teaching: applicants whose native language is not English shall provide TOEFL / IELTS or other English proficiency certificate.

⑦ Interview video (about 5 minutes of self introduction video)

② Teacher recommendation letter

③ Certificate of special talent (level certificate, award certificate, etc.)

④ Economic proof

4. Expenses (RMB / yuan):

*Due to the limited housing resources of overseas students' apartments, the school can provide the first year admission qualification for new students, but it can not guarantee their long-term stay.

1 Chinese Government Scholarship

The application time of Chinese government scholarship program is from the beginning of January to the beginning of April every year. Applicants can also consult Chinese embassies and consulates abroad for relevant information.
